Rain, rain, rain...

No lessons tomorrow (Wednesday).

I have not heard anything from anyone about preferences for winter...

Bad News...

So Heritage Ranch has fallen through. The best they were able to do for us was $600/month, WHETHER OR NOT we ride... Thanks, Barb, for handling those negotiations!

So I wanted to open the discussion up a bit to see if we've got some creative thinking out there. Thoughts? (Please use ReplyAll, so we can all keep up with the conversation...)

Some suggestions already:
A) Trailer-pooling down to Oak Hills twice a month
B) Muddling along with the weather as long as possible
C) Making a decision to stop for winter, and plan to start again in spring, so that A becomes more feasible
D) Go to Kathy Cappell's indoor (which is quite small, about 20m X 20m)
E) Individually work with Kathryn MacLeod through the winter, as weather permits, and also A.

Let's have a conversation about it, since I don't want to make any kind of unilateral decision about something that so deeply affects everyone!

Hi Everyone,

Trisha is gone to New Mexico next week for a big show---go Trisha! I forgot this was happening, and am envious that she's going to play ponies AND eat green chile for a whole week. Sigh. ; )

Our next lessons, then, will be the week of the 19th. I'd like to do our 'dry run' Saturday on the 24th, since that's our earliest opportunity, and it looks like winter is actually here to stay already!

'Straw-man' Saturday Schedule

Hi all,

So the idea here is to throw some times out there, and see how we can best organize Saturdays. Let me know if you have a recurring conflict with your possible time (kids in soccer practice, etc). As a first attempt, I mostly tried to keep everyone at their regular time.

Michelle, you are new! See if this is going to work for you.

Trisha, is 10 too early to start on a Saturday? You probably won't hit traffic, I'm guessing... but this puts you home at a more 'normal' hour---you'll get most of the way home before dark for most of the winter...
